Expert care for musculoskeletal pain and joint dysfunction — personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
If you have tried physical therapy elsewhere and have not seen results, give us a try. We specialize in complex orthopedic issues and help patients who want to resolve them without procedures and surgeries.
Orthopedic physical therapy treats musculoskeletal conditions — back pain, neck pain, joint dysfunction, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. But what sets Pelvic PT Plus apart is the connection between orthopedics and pelvic health. The pelvis is the foundation of your spine and the center of your movement system. SI joint dysfunction, hip pain, and chronic low back pain often have a pelvic floor component that standard orthopedic PT misses — because most orthopedic therapists don't assess the pelvic floor.
I hold the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) board certification, the same advanced credential held by sports medicine specialists. That means you get expert-level orthopedic care — and if your pain involves the pelvic floor, I can assess and treat that too, in the same session, without referring you somewhere else. Every session is 60 minutes, one-on-one, with no aides or assistants.
We treat patients from Montclair and across North Jersey who want orthopedic physical therapy that looks at the whole picture — not just the joint that hurts, but the movement patterns, posture, and pelvic floor function that may be driving the pain.
If you experience any of these, orthopedic physical therapy can help:
Your evaluation is a full movement assessment — posture, gait, joint mobility, strength, and how your body compensates around the painful area. I look at the entire kinetic chain, not just the body part that hurts, because the source of pain is rarely where you feel it. If your back pain is being driven by a tight pelvic floor, or your hip pain by SI joint dysfunction, I will find it.
Treatment is hands-on and one-on-one: manual therapy and joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise, movement re-education, and Pilates-based rehabilitation. If your condition involves the pelvic floor — and many chronic orthopedic conditions do — I address that in the same session. You get 60 minutes of my undivided attention every visit, with a plan built around your goals, whether that's returning to sport, lifting your grandchild, or living without pain.
